God is always good and we aren’t. That is a truth we don’t like. By our human nature, we hate being dependent on others, but our salvation requires us to surrender ourselves to God and be dependent upon Him, His grace and mercy. When we walk with our Lord and fellowship with the Holy Spirit, we are where we need to be - and are purposed to be - we belong there. But when we go where our desires and humanity want to take us, we turn away from God and it isn’t good for anyone anywhere.
