Pride is everywhere and in everyone. It’s an issue we all have to deal with, part of the daily struggle in our journeys through life. The more we walk with Jesus and His Holy Spirit, the more we see ourselves through God’s lenses. When we see who we are in Christ, who God created us to be and how He equipped us to fulfill His plans and purposes - that is when we are able to be truly humble.
Humility isn’t self- depreciation, it’s knowing and embracing your place - whether you’re a leader or a follower, a servant or a master, you can do it with humility and reflect the glory of God. That’s what Jesus did when He came to redeem us. He was a king, but He served and listened and showed love and compassion. Can’t we all do those thing?
