Success?

This was how my Pastor started his message Sunday. How many times have I been focused on a successful outcome instead of what God asked me to do? How many times have I thought that I was the one that needed to come through for someone. I can think of times when I though I’d failed because something wasn’t what the world calls “successful.” I have done the crazy things the Lord had asked me to do, I’ve said “Yes Lord,” and done it - but it didn’t turn out like I thought… it was never about me, though.

Following God, living as a Jesus-follower, isn’t about successful outcomes. It’s about HIM!
