Singing and making song for God comes from a heart that loves Him no matter the circumstances. When I’m the saddest or most upset, I sing. When I’m worried or concerned, I sing. When I’m happy and rejoicing, I sing. Sometimes it’s not out loud, but most every minute there is a song playing in my heart and mind. I often wake up with it playing in my head. I think it’s one of the ways I fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
