Following Jesus and living in this world isn’t easy. We build our closeness and develop our faith and trust by walking and talking with Him when life isn’t too hard. Then, when life does get difficult, you’ve already established your foundation and can seek and find Him more easily. If you wait to pray until you’re desperate, you might not find Him as quickly and you will feel a lot more anxious.
