Life in this broken world is not easy. We all get hurt, betrayed, and wounded - some worse than others. The answer for all of us, in every situation, is forgiveness. We must forgive those who are guilty and those who hurt us, even if they don’t deserve it and aren’t sorry - especially then - because when we forgive we begin to heal. Healing those wounds, forgiving others protects us from the devils plans to hurt us more. The devil doesn’t want you to heal. He will do anything to keep you from forgiving someone. Unforgiveness is his way.
The Jesus Way is forgiveness and grace, love and hope and joy! ”When you forgive this man, I forgive him, too. And when I forgive whatever needs to be forgiven, I do so with Christ’s authority for your benefit, so that Satan will not outsmart us. For we are familiar with his evil schemes.“ 2 Corinthians 2:10-11
