Often and Openly

Our God is also our Daddy and He wants us to approach Him often and openly. I’ve always looked at David as the example to follow in this. David wasn’t even allowed into the Holy Place where the Ark of the Covenant was, but He went in anyway, often and openly. He poured out his heart and soul to the Father without a filter, but in respect and love… and there he received grace and mercy, wisdom and understanding.

And he picked himself up, dusted himself off, and started over again. God called David “a man after His own heart.” I want to be a woman after the Lord’s heart.
