Men and women who are teachable are becoming increasingly rare. Sadly, people are just not listening to each other or the Lord. They think they are though, because they’ve picked out a few Scriptures that back up what they’re saying and doing - they aren’t following the rest of the Word though and they refuse correction.
“Fools think their own way is right, but the wise listen to others.” Proverbs 12:15
The heart of a Christ follower is more concerned with what Jesus has said than what other people might say and what Jesus modeled for us to do, rather than what we (or our culture) want to do. When Jesus is the center of your life, you’re will is surrendered to His - no matter what.
