Have you ever known someone who just wasn’t willing to accept correction or learn from their mistakes? I have. It was a pride problem. They won’t listen to anyone else when they want to do it their own way… and they keep looking for the quick fix and the shortcut to glory.

“To learn, you must love discipline; it is stupid to hate correction.” Proverbs‬ ‭12:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Intelligent people are always ready to learn. Their ears are open for knowledge.” Proverbs‬ ‭18:15‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Learning more and more about God’s word, about people, science, history, languages, and everything else helps us to have understanding, but it’s not the key to true wisdom and understanding. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” Proverbs‬ ‭9:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

You must learn what God is teaching you, and follow His instructions to be wise and have a real understanding of things. #wisdom #discipleship #yourjourneytobeingwhole #shalom #pridegoesbeforeafall #dailydevotional
