Do you get annoyed when you’re interrupted? It used to bother me a lot. I am naturally a pretty structured person, and I had created rigid structures in my daily life to cope with it. I was living in crisis mode for a long time, clinging to Jesus and the Word of God with all my strength. I had two active sons and I didn’t always handle their interruptions well.
It took time for me to understand that the interruptions to my plans could be more important than completing what I was doing - because I wouldn’t be doing it if it weren’t important, right?!? Wrong. Many of the tasks weren’t as important as I thought they were.
