The joy of the Lord is supernatural - that means it’s not based on reality or circumstances, it transcends them. I have experienced great joy in The middle of terrible situations- and it’s only because I couldn’t go thought it alone. I didn’t just seek the Lord, I crumbled at His feet and put ALL my hope in Him - then you know what He did? He lifted my head, filled me with strength and that hope became powerful.
