Love is the root of mercy and justice. Justice is one of the words often translated as righteousness in the Bible. Justice is all about setting things right with God - putting the greatest commandment to work, loving God and your neighbor. Showing mercy and compassion when you could condemn or malign is love in action. Who can you show mercy to today?
