When we talk about our goals and dreams - which many of us do at this time of the year, make sure you include God’s will and purposes for you in the conversation. If you’re not sure, make sure you ask!!
Just because you like something or want it or have always dreamed of it - doesn’t mean it’s from God. I think we can miss that - and then we set our expectations on a path that leads away from God. Don’t forget:

They’ll do the work I sent them to do, they’ll complete the assignment I gave them.“
