What does this mean to you?
It’s one of the gifts from God that has sustained me through many years of endurance. His joy is eternal and overcomes trials and circumstances. I’ve been accused of being “fake” when I walked in His joy, kind of basking in it instead of focusing on situations that I couldn’t change. This was much better than worrying about a future I couldn’t control, though. By focusing on my God and His faithfulness and grace, I did much more than endure - I grew and flourished.
