Love

All the time.

Always.

In every circumstance.

Love them anyway.

This is the commandment Jesus gave to us - it’s not optional and it is often very difficult. Love doesn’t mean that you allow abuse or out yourself in harms way, but it does mean that you forgive and move on, and don’t allow bitterness to invade your spirit. Love doesn’t mean that you don’t fight against evil, it means you fight with Godly faith instead of repaying evil with evil. It especially means to love the unloveable- people who are prickly and mean by showing them kindness and compassion. They know they don’t deserve it, they don’t need you to tell them that - but they need to see Jesus through you.
