In our consumerism, it’s easy to lose sight of the needs around us. It’s easy to “not see” people who are in need, suffering and alone. One of the coolest things about Jesus is that He didn’t just see these kinds of people, He heard them and reached out to them. He loved them. This is our example.

Giving to food drives and the Salvation Army bell-ringer is a start and it matters - but I challenge myself and I challenge you today to see the people around you and ask God how to show love to them best.
